Melissa is an advocate for rural Australia, making valuable contributions to the agricultural sector and building stronger rural communities.

As the Rural Ambassador for Victorian Agricultural Shows, she is keen to ensure a strong future for shows.

Melissa is passionate about educational activities for exhibitors and show goers and seeks opportunities for young people to learn through their involvement with show societies.

Melissa also works in Livestock Extension and Red Meat Value Chain Development with the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, Victoria (formerly Department of Primary Industries).
